The resources published on the New Fascism Syllabus website are intended to foster scholarly inquiry and enrich discussions and debates of topics thematically related to our project. The views expressed in the articles published here do not necessarily represent the views of the Editorial Board or its individual members.
As an interim resource (and aren’t all of our resources “interim”?), we’re making available a bibliography on “Historical thinking about Trump: Authoritarianism, Populism, Fascism.” The bibliography draws on items submitted to New Fascism Syllabus, highlighting those that use historical thinking about authoritarianism, populism, and fascism to analyze the Trump phenomenon. This bibliography focuses on historically-informed essays appearing in media outlets for a general audience rather than scholarly works.
